The Applicants herein were arrested on 17th July, 2016 by Phalombe Police Officers on allegation that they caused the death of Thomas Manyaka of Mkolo village, Traditional Authority Jenala, Phalombe District.
The Applicants applied to the High Court to be released on bail pending trial.
Upon reviewing the facts of the case, this Court found that there is no tangible basis for their arrest and the State does not object to their release. This Court orders that the Applicants be released from custody unconditionally.
